Project ideas
- Culturing soil microorganisms
- Pigmented bacteria to dye fabric Fabric dying with bacteria pigment Using pigmented bacteria to dye fabric. Make a completely interconnected course. The fabric could then be used to sew a simple top or embroider something. That pigment apparently fades with differently intense light - could we make patterns with e.g. UV light?
- Slime mould hiking trip Slime mould path Putting slime mould onto petri dish and following the path.
